These facilities were closed for a two-week renovation period to allow for essential winter sport preparations, including the installation of goal posts, line marking, and turf maintenance such as top dressing and fertilising. While most grounds are now available for the start of the winter season, some locations may continue to see minor maintenance crews on-site. Users are encouraged to check with their respective sporting clubs for specific training and match schedules.

Traffic and Road Infrastructure Alerts

Several major infrastructure projects continue to impact travel across the capital this Wednesday. Motorists and commuters should account for the following active notices:

• Majura Road and Fairbairn Avenue: Significant road closures remain in place at this intersection until Thursday, 2 April. Diversions are active, and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid delays during peak hours.
• Bunda Street (Civic): The section of Bunda Street between Genge Street and Scotts Crossing remains closed for ongoing upgrade works. This closure is scheduled to continue until Sunday, 19 April 2026. Pedestrian access to nearby businesses is maintained, but vehicle diversions are in effect.
• Commonwealth Avenue: Northbound traffic is currently reduced to a single lane from the Parkes Way on-ramp to Vernon Circle. This restriction is expected to remain in place until late April.
