The ACT Government has issued a notice regarding the seasonal transition of recreational facilities. Most government-managed turf sportsgrounds are now closed for a scheduled two-week maintenance period that commenced on Wednesday, 18 March. This closure allows for seeding and goal post installation in preparation for the winter sporting season. Impacted areas include major ovals in Belconnen, Gungahlin, and Central Canberra.
